CarePredict Is Using Its Wearable for Seniors to Offer Automated Contact Tracing During COVID-19

CarePredict built and deployed a wearable for seniors that assesses their movements and predicts health problems before they occur. When the coronavirus pandemic hit, the CarePredict team realized that their hardware could be part of the solution. In a matter of weeks, they developed a contact tracing program called Pinpoint that works over the same wearable hardware. It can help senior centers – or other populations – quickly identify people who have been exposed to the coronavirus. Gerald Wilmink, chief business officer at CarePredict, breaks it all down in an interview with StartUp Health editor-in-chief Logan Plaster.
